  • Intentional Interim Pastor

    Randi Henderson

Randi was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Accepting a scholarship from Washington University in St. Louis, she graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She was employed for more than 25 years as an Environmental Engineer for PPG Industries, in a variety of situations and roles.

In 2004, Randi heard God’s call to prepare for a different kind of service, so she enrolled in the night program at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, one of our ten Presbyterian seminaries. She was awarded the Master’s degree in Divinity in 2009, along with academic prizes in Biblical Studies, New Testament Greek, and overall achievement as class salutatorian. Upon graduation, Randi was ordained by Redstone Presbytery and has served as the installed pastor for churches in Fayetteville, Arkansas and Keokuk, Iowa. She has been active in transformation/redevelopment programs in Redstone, Arkansas, and East Iowa presbyteries, and is trained in interim ministry.

Randi is married to Joe Lisieski, a retired chemical engineer. They have three adult sons, Chris, Mick, and Sam, spread out across the country (which makes for many interesting vacation options!). Randi and Joe are voracious readers, avid folk dancers, and love long walks in the woods. Joe would probably add “long naps in the shade”, while Randi would definitely tag on music, “fiber arts”, and genealogy. But both eagerly look forward to whatever God has in mind for this next phase of life together.

  • coordinator of communications and shared ministries

    gale smetana

Gale joined Westminster's staff after working in various forms of media including news, digital advertising and video. She served as an associate professor of communications media at Kirkwood Community College and prior to that served as both a domestic and overseas consultant in the television industry. Gale is thrilled to be at Westminster. As she puts it, anytime you can meld your skills and gifts with your faith, it's a great match. When she isn't working, Gale devotes her time to trying to teach manners to her dachshunds, Fritz and Peanut.

    damon cole

Damon Cole is no stranger to the Corridor music scene. Some members will recognize him for being music director of the popular Follies in Cedar Rapids-no small feat. Damon came to Westminster Presbyterian Church after serving at First Presbyterian in Mount Vernon. We are blessed to be able to enjoy his musical talents here at Westminster.

  • Contemporary Music Leader

    Jason Wright

Jason received a Bachelor of Music degree (Music Business major) from DePauw University.  His main instruments are keyboards, guitars, percussion and vocals.  Jason's wife, Leslie, works as Director of Community Impact with United Way of East Central Iowa.  Jason has two children: step-daughter Casey and son Grant.

Jason helps to lead our praise band, Pseudolaic, during our 9:00 a.m. blended worship on Sunday mornings.

  • Bookkeeper

    Tina Mueller

I am happy to join the staff of Westminster Presbyterian Church as part-time bookkeeper. I have been in the bookkeeping field for 20+ years and have been fortunate enough to be able to leave a full-time position recently to allow me to be able to do some volunteering. I have been married for 29 years and have lived in Cedar Rapids for 26. I have two wonderful kids and they are my two greatest accomplishments. Family is everything to me!
