Who We Are: 

Westminster Presbyterian Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in the Presbytery of East Iowa.  Located in Cedar Rapids, our congregation is made up of about 155 members, covering multiple backgrounds and generations.  We are a leader in providing ongoing food for the hungry through the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry,  We partner with startup congregations in need of a place to worship. On Sunday mornings, we worship at 10 a.m. in our historic Sanctuary in a service that combines traditional with more contemporary music.

Director of Music/Choir Director

Creative, people-oriented Director of Music and Choir Director is being sought to lead
our volunteer choir at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. This is a 12-
month, salaried and part time position. We are looking for someone who can build
strong working relationships with a variety of people to create a variety of special
music. Westminster Presbyterian Church has always been known for beautiful,
meaningful music and an appreciative congregation.

A degree in music is preferred, but equivalent music experience will be considered.
Successful candidate must have significant experience as a choral director and be able
to coordinate all music for the church. Westminster is an equal opportunity employer.
