World War II Honor Roll Re-Dedication

Westminster Presbyterian Church re-dedicated a recently recovered World War II Honor Roll during a service May 27 in the Large Parlor where the roll will have a new home. It was discovered while rooms were being cleaned out for office space for the Presbytery of East Iowa. World War II veteran, Ted Kahler made a few repairs to the plaque. He and fellow WW II veteran, Luman Colton were interviewed by local media for a Memorial Day feature. The service included the scripture from Revelation that was read at the 1946 service honoring those who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

After the service, a number of people took a closer look at the list of names.
